David Sharon, MBA is the founder and Principal Consultant of CASE Associates Inc. (CAI). Mr. Sharon founded CAI in 1987 after he contributed to the development of industry standards and the growth in the use of Computer-Aided Software Engineering tools and methodologies. He has over 30 years of extensive QA, QC and Risk Management experience. Mr. Sharon has been a principal consultant or the engagement manager for all CAI client engagements.
Whitney Dickinson
Senior Quality Assurance Consultant
Whitney Dickinson's 26 years of IT experience includes more than 21 years of project management in industries such as aerospace, banking, publishing, and non-profit organizations. During five years as an oversight consultant with the State of Washington's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Ms. Dickinson worked with more than 26 agencies on more than 50 projects with a range of budgets and complexity. She is deeply familiar with OCIO IT and Cybersecurity policies including stage-gate funding and technology budgets. Ms. Dickinson is also skilled in facilitation and problem solving, using a variety of methods and is a Certified Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and Scrum Master (CSM) for supporting Agile project methodology.
Dan Kruger, CPM, CSM, CBA, LSSGB has over 39 years of IT experience that includes QA experience with CASE Associates Inc. providing QA services for both COTS, SaaS and Agile projects, plus over 15 years Project Management experience with the State of Washington Department of Health and the Department of Ecology. In addition, Mr. Kruger is also an experienced Business Analyst, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt practitioner and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) for supporting Agile project methodology.
Peter van den Berg
Senior Quality Assurance Consultant
Peter van den Berg is an experienced IT Executive and Project Manager with over 35 years IT experience. He is the former IT Director for Providence Health System, CIO of Silverton Hospital, and Deputy CIO of Oregon Department of Transportation. Mr. van den Berg has extensive QA experience in IT project management best practices and quality control reviews of RFPs, project requirements, Business Cases, Project Charters, and PMBOK Project Foundational Documents.
Clifford Smith

Cliff Smith is a Senior QA Consultant. Cliff is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional with 40 years of experience in the Information Technology industry providing project management, quality management and risk management services. Cliff was originally from the Boston area where he was the services manager for the branch of a national consulting company. Since relocating to the west coast 20 years ago, he has provided project management and quality assurance services for IT projects in the States of Washington and Oregon and the City of Portland, Oregon.
